Household ChitChat # 2

hey my dearest, how are you?

wow...another week passed already! well, what've you guys been doing? i hope you are all great~!

okay, i will start to write about my week now. hmm...i don't really wanna mention the assignments that we have to do again. just, we are working against time, but everything should be fine.

last nite, jonny brought me to his uncle & auntie's place to have dinner. their names is yvonne & gilman. actually, i had lunch & dinner with them before. but this time, they introduced themselves to me and it seems to be a little bit more formal.

i am surprised to find that uncle gilman is a jp (justice of peace). i discovered that as jonny got a document that need a jp to sign. so, although i am still not very sure how someone become a jp, i recognise that uncle gilman is a nice & wise man.

and, i think auntie yvonne is a very good person as well. i actually learned something from her. she said, studies is not only about going to school, sitting in class, listening to what the teachers say, copying notes from the board or overhead. how much you spend in school, you should spend same amount of time in doing revision. e.g. on tuesday, i got a 3-hour lecture. so, according to what auntie yvonne said, after class, i'll have to spend another 3 hours on reading the handouts, reference books or something related to the lecture. do you guys agree with it?

the last thing i wanna talk about in here is, jonny may...just may got the chance to work in the airport as an luggage inspector, a person which mickey really hates. you know, when you have something to declare (e.g. dried seafood, tea, lolly), you have to queue up and wait for your turn to be checked by him.

he will be interviewed later on...and if he passed, he will have to go for a body check...and if he passed, he will have to go for a training in May...and if he passed, he will have to start to work from 4am to 9am or 5am to 10am, 4 hours a day, 7 days a week. as a matter of fact, after he worked for 7 days, he will get 3 days off...then worked for 7 days, he will get 4 days off. although he will be paid less, compare with what he is earning now, it's a government job.

he is still planning to study...but it may be a little bit hard if he gets the job. as school starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm. so, he might have to study part-time, at nite, if he really wants to.

and if he gets the job, of course he will quit the one he is doing now.

okay...oh no, i think today is friday...that's why i am writing you guys this email...how silly i am...i better go to bed now...i got school tmr. talk you later!

love,
sammie
